When the Vikings test his flying skills by throwing him off a cliff, Cryptograf suspends him on a rope so that it looks as if he is flying. However, Justforkix refuses to come with them as he is in love with Abba. They travel to the village of Vikings, attempting to free Justforkix from the Vikings. Asterix and Obelix now have to rescue Justforkix before his father visits the village.
As the Viking’s approach Gaul, Crpytograf explains to his stupid son Olaf that if he becomes the Champion, he can marry Abba, putting him next in line as the tribe’s chief.Īfter the attack, Olaf manages to capture Justforkix, and the tribe sets back, taking him as a hostage. Obelix and Asterix try their hard to train him but have very little success in their efforts.
Timandahak’s daughter, Abba, accompanies them in spite of him not allowing her daughter to come with them. Meanwhile, in the village of Gaul, chief Vitalstatistix’s nephew, Justforkix is being trained to be a man. The Vikings then set off to a village named Gaul to capture the “Champion of Fear”. Crytograf seized this as an opportunity to seize power from Timandahak and agrees with his misinterpretation. On the other hand, the Viking’s chief, Timandahak, wrongly interprets it as the tribe must find a “Champion of Fear”, then they’ll become great cowards, and be able to fly and become unbeatable. It is adapted and made in the Tamil language.Īfter a series of raids on empty villages and finding nobody to fight against them, the Viking’s adviser, Cryptograf, declares that enemies have all fled, stating that ‘fear gives you wings’. This animated series is based on the book “Asterix and the Normans”, written by Rene Goscinny. Asterix and The Vikings is an animated adventure series broadcasted on Chithiram TV, a Tamil kids television channel.
